Pathology Technician
Job Description
• Collect, process, and prepare tissue, fluid, or cell samples for analysis.
• Perform tissue sectioning, embedding, and staining for microscopic examination.
• Assist in preparing slides for pathologists to analyze under microscopes.
• Ensure high-quality sample presentation for accurate diagnosis.
• Carry out specialized tests, such as histochemical or immunohistochemical staining.
• Work with automated laboratory equipment to maintain efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of lab procedures and ensure protocols are followed.
• Troubleshoot issues with laboratory equipment or sample processing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Organize and manage sample documentation for diagnostic accuracy.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning.
• Operate machinery like microtomes, centrifuges, and automated staining devices.
• Work closely with pathologists, laboratory technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the pathologist's interpretation of findings by preparing appropriate samples.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
