Requirements
Pastry Creation: Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods from scratch, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and specialty items.
Recipe Development: Innovate and develop new pastry recipes to expand the menu, keeping up with trends and customer preferences.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our quality standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient inventory, place orders as needed, and manage stock to minimize waste.
Kitchen Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, including supervising junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and make custom pastries for special orders and events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Master.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
Exceptional baking and pastry skills with a strong portfolio of previous work.
