Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a creative and innovative pastry menu that aligns with our culinary vision and meets customer expectations.
Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, cakes, and baked goods from scratch, following established recipes and techniques.
Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to company standards for quality, taste, and appearance.
Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
Train and supervise pastry team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to coordinate menu offerings and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bakery.
Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
Creative flair and passion for experimenting with new recipes and flavor combinations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized culinary institute is preferred but not required.
