, is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.
Designation: Pastry Chef (Cloud Kitchen)
Experience: Candidates with minimum 2+ year of experience in preparing pastries, cakes, and other baked goods in a cloud kitchen setting.
Qualification: Diploma or Certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts from a recognized institute. Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory)
Salary: Upto INR 30,000/- per month (Negotiable)
Job Role: The Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading the pastry and dessert production, ensuring high-quality cakes and pastries, maintaining food safety standards, and innovating new premium offerings. The role requires expertise in cloud kitchen operations, efficient order management, and adherence to brand quality guidelines.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and other desserts as per standard recipes and customer preferences.
2. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked products.
3. Innovate and experiment with new recipes and cake designs.
4. Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
5. Manage inventory, ingredient sourcing, and stock control.
6. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely order fulfilment.
7. Adhere to food safety regulations and kitchen SOPs.
8. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and baking tools.
9. Train and guide junior staff or kitchen assistants as needed.
Skills Required:
1. Expertise in cake baking, frosting, decorating, and fondant work.
2. Experience working in a cloud kitchen or online bakery setup.
3. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
4. Ability to handle bulk production while maintaining quality.
5. Proficiency in modern and classic pastry techniques.
6. Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in customized cakes and theme-based designs.
2. Knowledge of vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free baking.
3. Understanding of social media-friendly cake presentation styles.
4. Familiarity with delivery management in cloud kitchens.
