Qualifications
• 0-2 years of working experience in the baking industry (Commis- 3 or 2 based on experience and skill levels)
• Must have a diploma from a pastry school
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Learning and Growth Mindset
• Highly motivated and passionate about baking
• Should be up to date with current food trends
Responsibilities
• Ensure daily food preparations meet outlined recipes including the portion size, quality, and quantity.
• Assist the pastry chef in the creation of desserts and menu development
• Adhere to the food labeling and dating (FIFO) method
• Keep track of the inventory and stock of raw materials
• Work with the team and delegate tasks to interns
• Plating for dine-in orders and overseeing delivery orders
• Enable the team to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Think proactively by finding opportunities to improve processes
