Line of Service Internal Firm ServicesIndustry/Sector Banking and Capital MarketsSpecialism FinanceManagement Level Associate & Summary A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. Youll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.Our Finance Operations team manages PwCs financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. Preferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates a basic level of abilities and/or a proven record of success as an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:
  • Providing operational support to current and former partners of the Firm, including partner admissions, talent development, partner compensation, administration, and benefits.
  • Assisting in the development and analysis of partner financial reports using Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Supporting the management of financial programs for partners, including income distributions, priority income allocations, partner projections, financial partner settlements, and Global Mobility support via the Partner International Program.
  • Evaluating existing business processes and systems and assisting in proposing technological solutions to streamline operations.
  • Identifying trends in financial data to proactively suggest areas for improvement.
  • Working alongside a team of onshore and offshore technical professionals, providing support.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and improve business processes using serverless technologies and working in a multi-cloud setup.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial documents and records.
  • Utilizing project management skills to assist in system and process enhancements, ensuring documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Assisting in addressing complex issues and supporting recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Basic understanding of retirement benefit plans, actuarial calculations, and regulatory compliance.
