Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Bakery Store Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Store Assistant will support daily operations in our bakery, including customer service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bakery products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Assist customers in selecting bakery products, answering questions about ingredients, and recommending products based on customer preferences.
• Process transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Food Preparation:
• Assist with baking and preparing a variety of bakery items, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Package bakery products for display and sale, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Follow recipes and instructions for food preparation, including measuring ingredients and baking times.
• Store Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery store, including display cases, shelves, and work areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of bakery products and ingredients, and assist in replenishing stock as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other bakery staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with the Bakery Manager or Store Supervisor regarding product availability, customer feedback, and any issues that arise.
• Customer Relations:
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Uphold a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the bakery store, encouraging repeat business and customer loyalty.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery, food service, or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating quantities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?7,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Weekend availability
• Weekend only

Experience:

• Store management: 1 year (Preferred)
