• Manages food storage Ensures that ingredients are fresh and properly stored, and manages inventory and orders for supplies.
• Maintains kitchen Keeps the kitchen clean and organized, and ensures that food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Assists others Assists other kitchen staff as needed, and may also help with menu planning and recipe development.
• Ensures food safety Follows food safety guidelines to ensure the highest levels of sanitation and hygiene.
• Trains staff Manages and trains junior kitchen staff as needed.
