This involves selecting appropriate components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, meters, and wiring, and arranging them within the panel to ensure proper functionality and safety.Electrical design engineers create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software or specialized electrical design tools. These diagrams provide a visual representation of the electrical connections and components within the panel.Electrical design engineers calculate electrical loads and requirements for the panel based on factors such as voltage, current, power consumption, and anticipated operating conditions.
