Telesales Executive - Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales over the phone by reaching out to potential or existing customers. They must effectively communicate the value of the company’s products or services, persuade customers, and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation:
Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers.
Generate leads and convert them into sales.
Follow up on leads from various sources (marketing campaigns, referrals, databases, etc.).
Customer Handling & Relationship Management:
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
Answer customer queries and provide detailed information about the product.
Maintain a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business.
Sales Target Achievement:
Work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Effectively handle objections and close sales successfully.
Record-Keeping & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer details in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on sales performance and call feedback.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to improve outreach strategies.
Provide feedback to enhance the sales pitch and customer approach.
Stay updated on product knowledge and market trends.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
Basic computer proficiency (CRM software, MS Office).
Good listening skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
Experience in telesales or customer service is a plus.
