• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, packaging design, vendors and manufacturing processes.
• Possess Good communication and Presentation skills; Proactive and an excellent team worker
• Strong knowledge in Statutory regulations and compliances

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify & evaluate different packaging specifications, design & materials and finalize the most suited one to enhance the product quality & shelf-life.
• Liaise with internal R&D teams in understanding the product characteristics for development of suitable packaging material. Ensure smooth execution in development from start to closure of project.
• Understand requirements of the project and develop innovative packaging solutions that are aesthetic, sustainable and cost-efficient.
• Coordinate with various vendors in sourcing and evaluation of packaging materials. Negotiate pricing with vendors and ensure the cost is competitive and within project requirements. Establish relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Client or Third-party manufacturer to understand the packaging options in the factory and finalize the right packaging material and format.
• Ensure all developments and designs are as per regulations and standards. Stay up to date on the latest Packaging innovations, regulations, etc.
• Maintain documentation of all activities and ensure it updated in the system.
• Identify and develop cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality and performance.
• Identify and develop sustainable packaging with focus on reducing environmental impact. Recyclable, Biodegradable, Plastic-reduction, etc options to be explored.
