Job description

We are looking for an experienced Packaging structural designer to develop creative and cost-effective packaging designs for products. As a structural designer, you will work to develop functional eye-catching packaging design that resonates with the target audience of the brand and compiled with the state health and safety regulations.

Preferred experiences in ArtiosCad

1. Design and develop packaging structures: Utilize ArtiosCAD software to create and develop structural packaging designs based on client specifications, industry standards, and manufacturing constraints.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with clients, sales teams, and production staff to understand their packaging requirements and translate them into functional designs. Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility.

3. Ensure compliance and quality: Adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality standards in packaging design.

4. Conduct feasibility analysis: Evaluate the feasibility of packaging designs in terms of materials, cost-effectiveness, manufacturing processes, and transportation logistics. Make recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.

5. Generate prototypes and samples: Create physical or digital prototypes and samples of packaging designs to validate their functionality, aesthetic appeal, and practicality. Collaborate with production teams to oversee the manufacturing of samples.

6. Optimize packaging efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize packaging materials, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency without compromising product integrity or safety.

7. Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in packaging design and manufacturing. Apply relevant knowledge to enhance the company's design capabilities and provide innovative packaging solutions.

• Meeting with the design team to discuss Packaging specifications and confirm budgets
• Evaluating market trends in analysing similar Packaging designs
• Completing final work design using software using 3-D design software is like auto CAD or ArtiosCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2-8years' prior industry related business development experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
