We are hiring Packaging Designer!!

Join the core group of founding members at the NTE India to build an organization from the ground up.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To serve as design and production assistance to Packaging Graphic Designer. contribute creative interpretation, solutions and facilitate the development of Owned Brand creative packaging materials that push innovation while maintaining unique individual brand imagery.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Demonstrates excellence in design, creative thought, problem solving and the creative ability to imagine and execute ideas.

2. Creates unique, high-quality package designs that are on brand with the product line to ensure premium product positioning in the marketplace including new brand development and packaging re-design.

3. Works with Product Marketing, Merchandising and vendors to develop packaging designs including packaging prototypes and mock-ups.

4. Designs related materials including packaging, inserts, on-product labels, and branding. Also assists with design of print/digital projects like employee handbooks, business cards, etc.

5. Prepares technical files for printers and oversees production process.

6. Assists in the development of brand identities, working within defined company style.

7. Works with Project Management and Design leadership to complete projects on time.

8. Communicates changes from Merchandising and Marketing in a timely manner.

9. Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.

10. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Associate degree or equivalent in Graphic Arts.
At least 1 year of related work experience, including print design and production for retail packaging, catalogs, and corporate communications.
Understanding of 4-color process printing and setting up files for printing.
Demonstrated ability utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, emphasizing Adobe Illustrator.
Demonstrated ability utilizing Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively and under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, Company personnel and others.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all employee levels.
Handles confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.
