We demand quality in all we do which is what cultivates our success in the Aerospace Industry.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining/updating various Technical Publication manuals and the development of new and supplemental documents for current and future design projects.Review Special instructions prior to publishing to ensure Simplified Technical English guidelines are followedMaintain good records of technical publications productionMaintain control of manual revision statusGate keepers for accuracy of engineering changes that impact production and the fieldGate keepers for completeness of documentation allowing the technical publication to be publishedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAble to read and comprehend engineering drawings and wiring diagramsFamiliar with common Engineering/Technical Authoring tools and computer applications such as CatiaFamiliar with Adobe Professional, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Must be a team player with the ability to work and communicate with proposal subject matter experts (mostly engineers).High level of English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.Good communication skills (i.e., when speaking with engineers, maintenance SME\'s or pilots, be able to interpret their requirements into usable text)Must have good organizational skills, be able to prioritize work, accurately perform duties with constant activity in the area and pay close attention to detail.Must be a self-starter requiring minimum supervision and perform with a degree of accuracy in the execution of job assignments.Must be able to work under pressure, relate to others and maintain flexibility with schedules of the departmentFlexible to be on call and work outside of regular working hours to address any customer requestBe autonomous on daily normal dutiesMinimal supervisionExperience in MM, OHM, IPC or SB is an added advantageEducation, Experience and CertificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent discipline with 2-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a technical writer/editor in the aviation, aerospace, or defense fieldField Experience and experience in aerospace technical publications field will be an assetEmployment Type:Full-timeRequired to work 09:00 AM to 18:00 PM IST TIME with an overlapping with EST shiftMay be requested to work overtime and weekends for special program needsWhat is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
