Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Overseas Education Tele-Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in reaching out to potential students, providing initial guidance on study abroad opportunities, and scheduling detailed consultations with our expert counselors. This position involves a mix of tele-counseling and cold calling to generate leads and convert inquiries into consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tele-Counseling:
• Handle incoming inquiries and provide detailed information about available study abroad programs, application processes, eligibility criteria, and timelines.
• Guide students on selecting suitable programs and universities based on their profiles and aspirations.
• Cold Calling:
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective students from lead databases.
• Explain the benefits of studying abroad and promote agency services to potential clients.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through consistent follow-ups and relationship management.
• Lead Conversion:
• Schedule one-on-one counseling sessions for students with our expert counselors.
• Ensure high-quality engagement and convert inquiries into appointments or enrollments.
• Follow-Up:
• Maintain regular follow-ups with students to keep them engaged in the process.
• Address any doubts or queries raised during calls, ensuring clear communication and guidance.
• Data Management:
• Update CRM or lead management software with accurate and timely information.
• Prepare reports on call performance, lead generation, and conversion rates.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the counseling team to provide seamless support to students throughout the application process.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes and service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in tele-counseling or cold calling, preferably in the education or service industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus).
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in making outbound calls and handling rejection professionally.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems.
• Passion for helping students and understanding their aspirations.
