Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Overseas Education Counselor to join our team at Abroad Admission Hub. As an Overseas Education Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding and advising students on study abroad courses and destinations. This role requires excellent communication and counseling skills, as well as a passion for helping students achieve their educational and career goals. The position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a full-time role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field
• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in overseas education counseling or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of study abroad courses, universities, and admission processes
• Familiarity with visa application procedures and immigration regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and counseling software
• Fluency in English and proficiency in regional languages is a plus

• Provide career counseling to students and help them choose the right study abroad courses and destinations based on their interests, goals, and academic background
• Assist students in understanding the admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application processes of various universities and colleges
• Guide students through the visa application process, including documentation and interview preparation
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and parents about study abroad opportunities and related topics
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions to stay updated on their courses and admission procedures
• Keep track of changes in immigration and visa regulations and provide timely updates to students
• Provide continuous support to students throughout the admission process, from initial counseling to post-acceptance guidance
• Stay updated on trends and developments in the field of overseas education and integrate them into counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student interactions and counseling sessions
