Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to understand their academic goals, interests, and preferences.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on study programs, universities, admission requirements, and visa procedures for various countries.
• Assist students in selecting suitable study programs and universities based on their academic background, career aspirations, and financial considerations.
• Guide students through the application process, including completing application forms, preparing supporting documents, and submitting applications to universities.
• Advise students on visa requirements, application procedures, and documentation for different countries, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, universities, and relevant stakeholders to stay informed about academic programs, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities.
• Organize and conduct informational seminars, workshops, and events to educate students and parents about studying abroad and address their concerns and queries.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students throughout the entire process, from application submission to visa issuance, ensuring a smooth transition to their chosen study destination.
• Keep abreast of trends and developments in the field of international education, immigration policies, and study abroad opportunities to provide accurate and relevant information to students.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in education counselling, preferably in the field of overseas education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.
• Strong knowledge of international education systems, study abroad procedures, and visa regulations for popular study destinations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with educational counselling software and tools is an advantage.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
