Location : Kottakal, Wayanad, Kochi, Kannur, Kerala

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Overseas Counsellor to join our team in Kottakal , Wayanad , Kochi , and Kannur . The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in counselling students or clients regarding overseas education, immigration, or employment opportunities. Local candidates are preferred to ensure a better understanding of the region's needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert guidance and counselling to students or clients seeking opportunities for overseas education , immigration , or employment .
• Assess the needs of individual clients and provide personalized advice regarding the best options available.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate courses , universities , and countries based on their qualifications, interests, and career goals.
• Guide clients through the application and visa processing steps.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest immigration policies , educational programs , and job opportunities abroad.
• Handle client queries and follow up on leads, applications, and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions , applications, and client interactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions , embassies , and other partners.
• Conduct seminars and workshops to promote overseas opportunities to students and other interested parties.
• Meet and exceed sales targets related to counseling services and applications.
• Provide pre-departure orientation and support to clients as they prepare to move abroad.

Key Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or related fields (freshers may also be considered if they have the required skills).
• Strong knowledge of the overseas education system, immigration policies , and visa processes .
• Excellent communication , interpersonal , and presentation skills .
• Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and provide tailored advice.
• Good understanding of local student needs and aspirations in the Kottakal , Wayanad , Kochi , and Kannur regions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other office management tools.
• Local candidates from the respective locations are preferred for better regional understanding.
• Fluency in English and local languages (Malayalam, Hindi) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Degree or diploma in Education , Counselling , Business Administration , or related fields.
• Knowledge of specific visa regulations , study abroad programs, and work opportunities in major destinations (e.g., the US, UK, Canada, Australia).
• Sales or marketing experience is an added advantage.
