Outer Box & Label Printing Operator

Job Summary:

Responsible for the accurate and timely printing of outer cartons and product labels as per the production schedule. Operate and maintain printing equipment, ensure label quality, and follow standard operating procedures to meet production and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate label and outer carton printing machines as per daily production requirements. Ensure the correct print format, batch details, expiry date, barcodes, and other specifications as per SOPs. Perform regular quality checks on printed labels and cartons to ensure clarity, alignment, and correctness. Maintain inventory of printing materials such as label rolls, ink, and ribbons. Set up machines for new batches, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot minor issues. Keep accurate records of printed materials including batch number, date, and quantity. Follow safety, hygiene, and 5S standards in the printing area. Coordinate with the packaging and production team to ensure timely availability of labels. Report any machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor immediately. Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the printing machines.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of label and box printing machines Basic understanding of computers and printing software (e.g., BarTender, NiceLabel) Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks Good communication and team coordination skills

Educational Qualification:

Minimum 10th or 12th grade pass ITI or vocational training in printing or packaging (preferred)

Experience:

1 to 3 years of experience in label or carton printing in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or packaging industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
