Job Summary:
The Outbound Travel Consultant is responsible for creating, promoting, and selling outbound travel packages to clients. This includes understanding clients' travel needs, providing suitable travel options, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. The consultant will work closely with suppliers, negotiate deals, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of global travel trends and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, travel routes, accommodation options, and travel insurance.
• Design and sell outbound travel packages, including flights, accommodation, tours, and activities.
• Manage client documentation, including visas, travel insurance, and itineraries.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and during travel.
• Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during travel promptly and effectively.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destination news, and travel regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel partners and suppliers.
• Participate in travel fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to expand business opportunities.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry in outbound travel consultant
