We are looking for a dynamic Outbound Sales Representative to identify, contact, and onboard new vendor leads to our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and research potential vendor leads using various sources such as online databases, social media, industry events, and referrals.
• Initiate outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to engage with prospective vendors.
• Present and effectively communicate the benefits and features of joining our e-commerce platform to potential vendors.
• Address vendor inquiries and provide detailed information about our platform, onboarding process, and vendor support services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing vendors to encourage long-term partnerships.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and vendor interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new vendors.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or vendor management.
• Knowledge of the specific industry or niche related to your e-commerce platform.
• Proficiency in using social media and online research tools for lead generation.
• Familiarity with email marketing and lead nurturing strategies.
