Ot Technician
Job Description
• Prepare operating room for surgery.
• Assist surgeon during the procedure.
• Cleanse and disinfect surgical instruments and or equipment after surgeries
• Prepare surgical instrument and equipmeaant for autoclaving/sterilization per the protocol.
• Maintain and keep all equipment clean and functional.
• Prepare the patient before and after surgery by washing and disinfecting the area for surgery.
• Prepare necessary equipment and instrument prior to procedure/surgery.
• Clean and disinfect operating room area after each procedure/surgeries.
• Report any defective equipment and instrument for repair or replacement.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Certified Operating Room Technician (CST).
• Registration: Current registration with the appropriate state board.
• Experience: Previous experience as an OR Technician preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent manual dexterity and coordination.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From ?10,000.00 per month
