Hiring for OT- Supervisor
Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing).

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in an OT setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Job Summary:

The OT In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the operating theatre. This role includes managing the OT staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sterilization protocols, and coordinating with surgical teams to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

o Supervise and lead the OT nursing team and support staff.

o Coordinate staff schedules and assignments.

o Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and training.

Operational Oversight:

o Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are available, sterile, and in good working condition.

o Monitor and maintain the inventory of surgical supplies.

o Implement and enforce OT protocols and safety guidelines.

Coordination and Communication:

o Liaise with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to facilitate smooth operations.

o Address and resolve any issues or concerns in the OT.

o Maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team and hospital administration.

Quality and Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements.

o Conduct regular audits and inspections of the OT.

o Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices.

Skills:

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and safety protocols.

o Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

o Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
