Advert for OT Assistant Position: Surgical scrub assistant in operating room in a leading NABH Accredited multi speciality hospital of Tri-City Age preference: 20-35 years Gender: Neutral ( Male or female) Minimum qualification: BSc/ GNM in nursing, OT assistant Diploma, from a reputed institute. Preferable if the candidate has worked in a renowned hospital and has the competence of assisting surgeons during surgery. Salary: INR 20,000/- to INR 25,000/-, per month (as per experience), incentive based salary can be considered as well. In case of a trained/ experienced person in robotic surgery pay scales would be higher. Location: Tri-city (Chandigarh, Panchkula , Mohali, but should be open to travel with team for conducting surgeries) Professional competencies, among other things:

• Must be familiar with basic functioning and protocols of the Operation theatre.
• Excellent knowledge about functioning of major equipment in the OT such as Laparoscopy trolley, Harmonic, Cautery etc.
• Knowledge about patient positioning Knowledge about sterilisation/ cleaning of OT instruments.
• Good basic surgical skills such as suturing/ assisting/ retracting Exposure to Laparoscopy and instruments is must

Key deliverables, among other things:

• You will be responsible to assist doctor during surgery.
• You will be required to properly clean, sterilise and store OT equipment and instruments.
• You might have to travel outstation/ abroad with doctor to assist in surgeries (additional incentive for outstation work).
