Job Title: Oracle E-Commerce software developer Location: Chennai Department: Digital Transformation Office Reports To: Manager Business System Analysis Responsible for the planning, analysis, design and implementation of business applications and process improvements. Assignments include identifying, analyzing and developing eCommerce systems assisting in guiding business system practices, working on complex company wide system integration projects. Primary Duties: Oracle iStore developer for Oracle E-Business Suite with an emphasis on O2C including iStore, Order Management, Service Contracts, Install Base, Advanced Pricing and Account Receivables. Work closely with Business Teams to gather requirements and identify the most feasible solutions, and with the Development team to implement the solutions. Provide guidance and support to other departmental staff. Coordinate eCommerce projects and initiatives with other IS teams responsible for system architecture, entitlement management, license and subscription management, and portal development. Implement and educate eCommerce and ERP implementation best practices across the company. Fully understand and analyze business processes to be able to predict the impact of decisions or actions on the system and enterprise. Assist user community in developing their applications, gap analysis, configurations, translating business requirements into functional/technical design, and preparing test plans and test scripts. Provide end-user support and participate in the development and implementation of all future enhancements and/or projects. Analyze, design/enhance test, and document interface specifications, and training material. Work with the Development team to provide application support and troubleshoot any issues related to Oracle e-Business Suite. Position Requirements: A minimum of 15 years experience in Oracle applications with significant experience in Oracle iStore, SOA, Order Management, Service Contracts, Advanced Pricing and Account Receivables. Expertise in OAF, Java, JSP, PL/SQL, SQL and experience in modules iStore, Order Management, CRM (Install base, Service Contract), Inventory, TCA. At least three full cycles of implementation experience in Oracle applications. Experience in license and subscription management is strongly preferred. Have substantial experience in implementing systems using REST/SOAP services. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex business processes and systems. Deep design and development expertise in Oracle e-Business Suite with a successful track record implementing highly scalable worldwide systems in a dynamic global environment. Experienced in creating technical design documents and business process models to describe business requirements. Must have excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy a good challenge. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with both technical and business staff. Excellent business process skills. Extensive experience with all aspects of Oracle Applications R12. Strong interpersonal, communication and client-facing skills. Participate as a member of a team-based environment. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to work successfully with little or no supervision. Ability to work closely with users, cross-functional teams, external vendors and development teams. Ability to travel as needed.
