Proven experience (10+ years) working with Oracle EBS Financial modules in an implementation/support environment. In-depth knowledge of Oracle R12 Financials including:
General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payables (AP)

Accounts Receivables (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)

Cash Management (CM)

Subledger Accounting (SLA)

iExpense

EBTax

Strong understanding of Oracle Application Framework (OAF), RICEW objects, and SQL/PLSQL (functional perspective). Strong understanding of Financial Accounting, P2P (Procure to Pay), and O2C (Order to Cash) processes. Should have some background in support/sustain areas. Experience in Zuora RevPro a plus Exposure to localization requirements (e.g., India GST, US Taxation, etc.). Proficient in documenting MD050/MD070 functional documents. Hands-on experience in SQL for data validation and functional troubleshooting. Experience in working with Oracle Workflow, AME, and Approvals configuration. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials is a plus. Excellent understanding of business accounting principles and financial processes. Experience with multi-currency, multi-org setups, and global financial operations. Hands-on experience in creating and executing test scripts, UAT coordination, and data migration activities. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise between business users and technical teams effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Oracle Financials Certification (preferred).

Roles & Responsibilities

:

Lead the end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle EBS Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, etc.). Perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, configuration, testing, and user training in Oracle Financials. Work closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into system solutions. Design and deliver functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components). Manage period closures, financial reconciliations, and provide support during audits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical Developers, DBAs, and other Functional Consultants. Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls in all financial processes and implementations. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with Oracle Support as needed. Mentor and guide junior consultants and business users on Oracle Financial best practices. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including Functional Design Documents (FDD), test cases, SOPs, etc. Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to quality and performance standards. Build a level of confidence that encourages a culture of customer satisfaction Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include serving as the interface with Application software vendor For repeat incidents help guide the problem management process to determine what corrective actions can be taken Resolve technical concerns in Application users Interact with leadership teams in communication of the service support activities like weekly service review calls for ticket backlog review, SLA breaches, ageing tickets, ITSM change board review of CRs and SRs. Develop knowledge transfer documentation and customer-facing support documentation Collaborate with peers externally to determine and facilitate best practices. Adheres to downtime procedures, departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. Strong sense of customer service.
