Oracle DBA, 6+ Yrs

• Knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture, including the latest versions of Oracle.
• Handling complex database recovery scenarios.
• Troubleshooting knowledge in RAC, ASM, Performance tuning, Data Guard, RMAN technologies.
• Preventive maintenance - root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• High availability features of Oracle RDBMS.
• Performs database administration activities for Oracle & SQL server.
• Performs basic Unix administration tasks.
• Perfective maintenance - Bug fixes, Performance tuning.
• Database capacity issues, replication and other distributed data issues.
• Diagnoses database performance bottlenecks and provide enhancements.
• Writes SQL and Unix Shell scripts.
• Manages database security, roles and profiles.
• Creates and maintains operational document procedures.
• Knowledge in backup and recovery RMAN, datapump, export & import.
• Supports all non-production databases including backup, recovery, database & schema level refresh.
• Database reorganization/defragmentation as required to assist performance and also release during disk/files systems space crunch.
• Monitors & resolves alerts reported by Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g & 12c, 19c automated shell scripts for databases maintenance.
• Provides support and direction to developers with troubleshooting and performance tuning as needed.
• Participates in 24•7 "on-call" support rotation duties.

Experience: 6+ Years


Minimum Education: BE, M. Tech, MSC, MCA


Communication: Good Communication Skills
