We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle 19c Database Administrator to support our client based in the Central US time zone. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing Oracle 19c databases and possess strong technical expertise in configuration, setup, backup, physical and logical data modeling, SQL, scripting, query tuning, and complete administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Manage Oracle 19c database configuration, setup, and maintenance.
• Perform backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Design and implement physical and logical data models.
• Write efficient SQL queries and scripts for database management tasks.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and performance monitoring.
• Provide administrative support for all aspects of Oracle 19c database operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and address database requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.

Qualifications: • Minimum 9-10 years of experience managing Oracle 19c databases.
• Strong understanding of Oracle 19c architecture, features, and best practices.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.
• Proven ability to design and optimize database structures.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques.
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements: • Availability to work US Central Time zone hours, at least until noon.
• Experience working in a distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is a plus.
