Provide day-to-day operational support for multiple Oracle databases, including patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring.xe2x80x8b
Proactively monitor database performance, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.xe2x80x8b
Manage database backups and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and rapid recovery in case of failure.xe2x80x8b
Implement and maintain database security measures, including access control, auditing, and encryption.xe2x80x8b
Develop and maintain database documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and scripts.xe2x80x8b
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.xe2x80x8b
Collaborate with application developers and other IT teams to ensure database availability and performance.xe2x80x8b
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, escalating complex problems as needed.xe2x80x8b
Participate in database capacity planning and resource allocation.xe2x80x8b
Assist in the design and implementation of new database solutions.xe2x80x8b
Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.xe2x80x8b
Contribute to the development and improvement of database administration processes.xe2x80x8b
May participate in projects involving database migration, upgrades, and implementation of new features.xe2x80x8b
Oracle Certifications (e.g., OCA, OCP) are a plus.xe2x80x8b
xe2x80x8bWork Experience:xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b3 6 years work experience in oracle database admin, patching, upgrade and performance tuning etc..xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bQualification:xe2x80x8b
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred from an accredited university
