- Oracle Database Administrator

Work Experience: 7-12 years

Role: System Engineer - Oracle DBA

Key Responsibilities: Oracle Database environment Management

Technical Experience: Oracle Database Server admin

With L2 Oracle DBA Experience of High-Level working experience on Oracle DBA environment

High-Level working knowledge on applying RU/One-Off Patches/upgrade of all

Experience in solving complex technical issues with RAC/ASM

Hands-on Experience in Managing Very Large(Multi-Terabytes) Database environment in a mission critical 24/7 complex environment

Very well versed with concepts on Oracle 19c/12c/11g RAC across various Operating systems

Good Hands-On Technical experience with RMAN cloning techniques and familiar with the concepts on third party backup tools such as Networker or Net backup

Good Technical insights on Oracle 12c/13c cloud control in managing Large IT landscape using this enterprise tool

Good experience in Golden Gate for data replication.

Design and implement data replication solutions using GoldenGate.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions using GoldenGate.

Good experience in Oracle DB migration (ON prem to cloud, Cloud to Cloud)

Good Operational experience in Managing Data guard environment

Familiar with Upgradation of oracle database using upgrade assistant and manual method

Installation of Oracle standalone database and Oracle grid cluster ware database on Linux OS.

Installation, Configuration, Administration and Patching of Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications.

Upgrades, Migrations and Patching of Oracle Databases in different operating systems. Build and configuring databases, apply patches and upgrade existing databases to new versions or platforms.

On call production support, troubleshooting, opening support tickets with vendors.

Database monitoring and Performance tuning to ensure security, stability, scalability and availability of database clusters on multiple technologies including Oracle with terabytes of data and billions of messages per day.

Monitoring the Table Space Utilization, Audit table, System Table and Users tables Utilization etc

Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.

Generating the AWR, ADDM and ASH reports for performance related issues.

Develop scripts and jobs to automate database management functions including data loads, database builds, maintenance, tuning and monitoring of databases.

Review, tune and implement DDL and DML scripts in QA and Production.

Provide support to software engineers and data architects with database changes, troubleshooting and testing new database features.

Evaluating and testing new database technologies and tools to meet growing challenges.

Set up and maintain viable database backups. Maintain and test failover and disaster recovery procedures.

Managing user privileges as per policy and standards ensure security compliance.

Develop and maintain database deployment standards and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?100,000.00 - ?1,700,000.00 per year
