Qualification :

? Bachelors in a computing degree or engineering degree.

? Experience of working in a high pressure environment preferably Front office application support and being able to deliver to tight deadlines.

? Experience of managing, owning and delivering high quality projects to objectives and within time scales.

The Sr. Database Administrator role is a pivotal role responsible for

administering multiple databases that hold and support business critical

applications. Sr. DBA will be responsible for monitoring database

performance and tune various queries to improve performance of

application. Sr. DBA will work to improve the quality of service while

providing support through the logical and physical design of databases. The

Sr. DBA will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of

the company databases and guarantee the data is stored securely and

efficiently.

The Sr. DBA will also provide strategic guidance and implementation of the

corporate Business Intelligence solution and the corresponding data feeds.

Reporting to the Application Lead / Manager, Sr. DBA will work closely with

other engineers and engage remote site support personnel, and internal

and external clients to resolve database issues. This role is an opportunity to

Essential Duties:

? Install, design and maintain database system software and

implement database security.

? Monitor and analyze database performance and ensure effective

and efficient utilization of database systems/processes.

? Maintain database dictionaries and support tools; develop and

maintain accurate system documentation.

? Participate in the development and maintenance of strategic,

architectural and tactical plans for the database and data

warehouse environments; be conversant with, and cognizant of, the

future direction of systems, how that direction impacts the

company and how future and current database systems can be

exploited for the company's benefit.

? Provide technical leadership on database systems and solutions.

? Provide individual mentoring and training on databases and tools.

Recommend, test, and evaluate new technologies, software tools,

and required skill sets; recommend and implement improvements.

? Implement a Business Continuity solution for the database

environment, including the installation and configuration of

database software and replication processes.

? Set and maintain database standards.

? Liaise with multiple internal teams within company and occasionally

external clients by building strong working relationships.

? Develop solutions geared towards high performance and loosely

coupled services.

? Complete other duties as assigned.

? Ensuring that all policies and procedures established under the

Skills required:

? Five or more years of SQL server database experience as Database

Administrator (DBA), including experience installing, configuring,

designing, patching, archiving, and monitoring to include

performance tuning databases with indexing.

? Experience utilizing various high availability (HA) and disaster

recovery (DR) options for Oracle Database.

? Experience with backup/recovery best practices.

? Extensive experience with query tuning and troubleshooting.

? Working knowledge of data encryption techniques and database

querying and management tools.

? Oracle Database certifications (preferred).

? Experience running and creating SQL Server health assessments

reports/SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report

development/experience writing complex SQL Queries

? Ability to take ownership and become subject matter expert in

various parts of the system.

? Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

? Hands-on approach with ability to deliver to commitments.

? Strong customer service focus with a desire to deliver a high quality

service.

? A desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge

? Understanding of Infrastructure/Server components of the

Spectrum Grading Application and how they integrate with each

other.

? Ability to maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally

diverse work environment.

? Ability to display supportive behavior and communicate positively

regarding department goals and objectives.

? Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities to establish

and maintain effective working relationships.

? Strong grammar, written and verbal communication skills.

? Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally,

if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?80,000.00 - ?110,000.00 per month
