Responsibilities
\xe2\x97\x8f Understand the detailed activities involved in a DB migration project and come up with ideas and solutions
on how to productise some of those steps for mutualization.
\xe2\x97\x8f Designing, developing, testing, documenting, publishing a software solution that will expedite the ongoing
database migrations projects in Airbus.
\xe2\x97\x8f Create reusable scripts, artifacts, documents, libraries etc. that will provide a lead to projects that are yet
to be migrated.
\xe2\x97\x8f Go getter attitude with the confidence to take on challenges, learn new skills and provide innovative
solutions.

You\'ll have (Qualification & Experience):

Must Have
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or
relevant field with 6-8 years of IT experience with a dedicated experience for 3-4 years in the field of
database migrations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong skills and experience in working with multiple databases especially Oracle, PostgreSQL and my SQL.
\xe2\x97\x8f Hands-on experience working on Database migration tools like Ora2Pg, Code2Pg, Talend etc.
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with database scripting of server-side development, and strong SQL database design
(preferably postgres DB).
\xe2\x97\x8f 3-4 years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and
code refactoring.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proven track record as a database migration specialist with exposure to the entire lifecycle.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent creative and research oriented thinking skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent problem solving skills and ability to navigate through ambiguous situations.
Nice to Have
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in programming using Java 8+ and related frameworks like Spring boot, hibernate/JPA.
\xe2\x97\x8f Python knowledge would be an advantage.
