Whether youve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or youre looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.Key Responsibilities:Application Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications in the cloud.Service Management: Start, stop, and restart application services as needed.Patching: Apply patches and updates to applications and underlying operating systems.OS Management: Manage and maintain the operating systems on which applications run.Network and Security: Implement and manage network configurations and security policies to protect applications.Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of cloud-based applications.Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud applications. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline application management tasks.Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, processes, and procedures.Integration: Manage the integration of applications with other cloud services and on-premises systems.Compliance: Ensure that all applications adhere to security policies and compliance requirements. Conduct regular audits.Skills:Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Experience with application deployment and management in a cloud environment.Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python).Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques for cloud applications.Expertise in cost management and optimization for cloud services.Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.Proficiency in network configuration and security management.Strong OS management skills, including patching and updates.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in application management, with a focus on cloud environments.Soft Skills:Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing business requirements.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in application management.Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.What we can do for you:At JLL, we make sure that you become the best version of yourself by helping you realise your full potential in a fully entrepreneurial and inclusive work environment.
