Role and responsibilities

? Design and develop scalable and maintainable Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements

and specifications.

? Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and define

application requirements.

? Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity.

? Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present complex information in a clear

and actionable manner.

? Implement data integration and manipulation within APEX applications, utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and other

relevant technologies.

? Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, including debugging and performance

optimization.

? Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle APEX development and

application design.

? Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to

coding standards.

? Collaborate with the database team to ensure proper data modeling and optimization for APEX

applications.

? Document technical specifications, user guides, and any other relevant documentation.

? Maintain and support existing APEX applications, including addressing bug fixes and implementing

enhancements.

? Keep track of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Technical skills requirements

? Proven experience of 5+ years in designing and developing Oracle APEX applications.

? Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database development and manipulation.

? Proven experience of 2+ years in Agile Scrum Methodology.

? Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.

? Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

? Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

? Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

? Prior experience in working on projects that involve integration with Oracle databases is a plus.

? Oracle APEX certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
