Company Description Blinkers Eye Clinic and Optical Showroom located in Surat provides comprehensive eye care services and personalized solutions that cater to individual needs. The optical business is dedicated to ensuring clear vision, maintaining good eye health, and detecting early signs of eye diseases such as Keratoconus, cataracts, etc. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for performing regular eye check-ups, evaluating patients\' vision, and prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses. The Optometrist will also be responsible for detecting early signs of eye diseases and referring patients to specialists if necessary. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of eye anatomy, physiology and common eye conditions Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose eye diseases Expertise in prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses for various vision disorders Familiarity with sophisticated equipment used in optometry practices to detect and diagnose eye diseases Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues A bachelor\'s degree in Optometry or a related field with a state board-issued license to practice optometry in India Experience working with a diverse patient population is beneficial
