Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers select eyewear based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Provide information on frame styles, lenses, and coatings.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding eye care, product features, and eyewear maintenance.
• Sales and Product Knowledge:
• Demonstrate knowledge of eyewear products, including different frame materials, lens types, and optical technology.
• Assist customers in trying on glasses, ensuring a good fit, and offering style recommendations.
• Meet sales targets by promoting sales and suggesting complementary products.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Optical Equipment and Inventory:
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the showroom is organized and well-presented.
• Help manage inventory, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with orders.
• Ensure frames and lenses are in good condition and display products effectively.
• Administrative Support:
• Maintain customer records and update prescription information accurately.
• Assist in preparing eyewear orders for customers.
• Support the optical team with administrative duties, including managing invoices and payment processing.
• After-Sales Support:
• Provide customers with information on eyewear care and maintenance.
• Assist with repairs, adjustments, and fitting of glasses as required.
• Follow up on customer orders and ensure timely delivery or collection.
• Compliance and Health Standards:
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the store.
• Follow all company procedures regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of optical products and trends is an advantage.
• Sales-driven with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Basic computer skills to manage customer records and sales systems.
