- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the organisation objectives.
- Forecast levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs.

2. Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of purchase agreements, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
3. Purchase Order Management:
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Ensure accuracy of order information, including quantity, specifications, and delivery dates.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
4. Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with inventory control to manage stock levels and ensure availability of critical materials.
- Implement inventory management practices to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and specifications.
- Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or supplier performance.
6. Cost Control and Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets and expenditures.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to achieve them.
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to support purchasing decisions.
