  • Set up and lead a team of Proposal Writers. Prove the concept, demonstrate measurable return on investment and scale the team.
  • Hire, train, manage and retain a high performing team of Bid Managers and proposal specialists.
  • Manage a suite of tools, processes and governance structures to ensure effective proposal management support is provided.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, workflows and SLAs for proposal management and support activities.
  • Undertake pre-sales research, and lead scoping (key issues analysis) exercise with the APAC Pursuits team to clearly align on deliverables (responsibilities and timelines), key strategic response elements and value propositions that differentiate JLLs offering.
  • Work closely with Team Lead and Proposal Managers to manage and deliver proposal management requests to the APAC Pursuits team and APAC business lines within agreed turnaround times.
  • Manage the completion of RFP submissions (up to 80% complete depending on complexity), for the varied business lines in APAC. End to end project management across the entire pitch lifecycle.
  • Ensure delivery of a high-quality product by all members of the CoE. Establish quality control procedures, proof reading capability, and bid debrief surveys to continuously elevate team output.
  • Own the ongoing collation, updating and delivery of critical business data and other Pursuits materials, including but not limited to baseline, case studies, quotes, organisation charts, imagery, awards, core business statistics.
  • Establish and uphold quality standards and meet SLA metrics. Work with the Head of Sales Operations and Pursuits Head to proactively implement process improvements to ensure higher productivity and increased efficiency levels.
Key skills
  • Prior experience in managing and setting up teams, processes and governance.
  • Manage senior professionals/stakeholders and their expectations in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal. Persuasive writing skills are essential. Ability to write effective, concise and compelling content.
  • Attention to detail with excellent editing, proof reading and quality control capability.
  • Proactive work style and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong influencing skills to build partnership across different points of the business and in different EMEA countries.
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills. Ability to balance several projects at once, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Adept at working with colleagues to diagnose problems and resolve issues through demonstrating initiative.
Employee specification
  • Previous experience establishing and leading a bid support function (minimum 15 years of experience).
  • Post-Graduate, with excellent academic credentials
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Proven ability in programme management, time management and stakeholder management.
