DEPARTMENT: Opportunity Assessment Team
WORK HOURS: 5 days week and willing to work in shifts including night shifts
LOCATION: Bangalore, IndiaRole Summary
Assessment Associate serve in a project management role on our Opportunity Assessments (OAs) with the objective of supporting the Sales MDs and Assessment Leads in the successful execution of our assessment scope. Assessment Associate demonstrate effective communication skills and strong planning skills. The role also requires a unique ability to demonstrate agility and adaptability in a changing environment, often under tight timelines. Depending on the size of the OA, the Assessment Associate will be expected to independently own components of the assessment execution, including across multiple capabilities (e.g., project setup, coordination, communication, data request oversight). Assessment Associate are skilled relationship builders that collaborate with project leadership.
Role Detail and Expectations

  • Project Execution Expectations and Responsibilities (project and staffing depending, not exhaustive):
o Administrative Support:
\xef\x82\xa7 Project Setup (e.g., definitive report, set up Teams/OneNote, team logistics such as onsite needs, project team vaccination requirements)
\xef\x82\xa7 Kick-Off Meeting (e.g., internal kick off deck, client kick off deck)
\xef\x82\xa7 Weekly Admin (e.g., internal team updates, escalations, progress, workplan management, hours tracking)
\xef\x82\xa7 Meeting Coordination (e.g., invites/agendas, meeting matrix, interview matrix, meeting minutes)
\xef\x82\xa7 Project Close
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintain Project Team Roster
\xef\x82\xa7 Attend interviews and observations to support the team with the findings and recommendations
o Oversee Data Management/RFI management
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate client access to transfer data to Huron
\xef\x82\xa7 Attend/Lead RFI meeting with client and any internal data updates in meetings
\xef\x82\xa7 Serve as the single point of contact for RFI management for both the client and Huron Team
\xef\x82\xa7 As data is received, organize it for the Huron team (including data uploads, renaming, organizing for Huron team)
\xef\x82\xa7 Regular emails to project team about data received
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate with project team and client team about edits needed for the data
\xef\x82\xa7 Support the vetting/QA process
o SME/Analytic Support
\xef\x82\xa7 Act as SME and/or support the SMEs with analytic support as expected based on capability background
\xef\x82\xa7 Support vetting as required
\xef\x82\xa7 Build and populate report out slides for capability as required
\xef\x82\xa7 Perform account sampling as needed
o Interview Support
\xef\x82\xa7 Note taking during interviews and/or summarizing key themes from interviews
o Report Out/Presentations
\xef\x82\xa7 Build and populate report out shell
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist with follow-up related to each teams completing their section of the report out deck in a timely manner
\xef\x82\xa7 QA slide deck
o OA Close Process
\xef\x82\xa7 Support OA close process
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure final documents are archived appropriately
  • OA Methodology: Supports capability lead(s) in developing and maintaining assessment methodology, tools, etc.
  • Business Development and Pipeline: Supports capability lead(s) as needed on proposal and pricing tool development, SmartSheet data tracking and reporting, pipeline updates, etc.
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and utilize workplans to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks with a high sense of urgency across an Opportunity Assessment that may include multiple capabilities (e.g., CWT, BTS)
  • Professional and polished written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively summarize information and present to internal and client leadership
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills in both data collection and complex analysis required to identify interdependencies across capabilities, identify gaps and risks, develop sound conclusions, and create path forward
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Advanced or highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to access and navigate client specific systems and databases
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and provide status reports on progress
