Job Title: Ophthalmic Assistant

Location:

Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), Assam

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care : Assist in patient intake, including gathering medical history and conducting preliminary vision tests.
• Diagnostic Support : Perform basic ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity assessments, tonometry, and refraction.
• Equipment Handling : Ensure proper use and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment and instruments.
• Patient Education : Educate patients on eye care, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures and tests performed.
• Assistance in Procedures : Support ophthalmologists during examinations and minor surgical procedures.
• Community Outreach : Participate in community health education programs to promote eye health awareness.
• Coordination : Work collaboratively with the MMU team to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education : Diploma or certification in ophthalmic assistance or a related field.
• Experience : Freshers as well as experienced candidates can apply
• Skills : Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.

Work Environment:

• Mobile settings, requiring adaptability to different locations and patient demographics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?17,000.00 per month
