Operator Germ Dryer (corn )
Job Description
- Operate and maintain germ dryer equipment to dry corn germ to desired moisture levels.
- Monitor temperature, airflow, and moisture levels to ensure optimal drying conditions.
- Load and unload corn germ from dryer, ensuring proper flow and minimal waste.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of dryer equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of drying cycles, moisture levels, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure timely and efficient drying process.
- Follow safety protocols when handling equipment and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in grain processing or a related industry.
- Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, depending on production schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
