The analyst is responsible for reconciling account balances at agreed frequencies, investigating discrepancies and escalating unreconciled items. Role involves journals, payment instructions are reviewed and processed within set timelines. This position requires strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills with a commitment to driving process accuracy.Core Responsibilities:Be an escalation contact between analysts and the business.Oversight of the function to ensure all activities are completed within timeframe.Assist with process reviews relating to policy changes.Process Payment Instructions xe2x80x93 ensuring the necessary approvals have been provided.Reconcile accounts daily and monthly following prescribed processes, escalating any non-reconciled items appropriately.Process journal entries, following the documented process.Track and Work within the required Service LevelsManage different work queues and assist with the production of department MIS and reporting.Takes personal responsibility for own performance, identifying enhancements to processes that realize tangible benefits.Delivery of a high level of customer service to internal customersKey Deliverables:Verify and process customer requests/instructions through various channels ensuring proper due diligence. Overview communication to the customer and resolution of investigation cases within designated time frames, if requiredFollow through tasks and take ownership to ensure they are completed to the required standards.Adhere to policies, standard framework decided stated by the company to meet client need.Meeting all Control and Compliance requirements and updating procedures as requiredEnsure day to day operations are performed and SLAs are met as per agreed for all businesses.Timely and accurate processing and customer resolutionTimely escalation on incomplete/delayed processingAs a successful candidate, youxe2x80x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure:Experience:Bachelor's degree with minimum 3-5 years of banking experience is preferred.Exposure to payment operations including SWIFT, CHAPS, Faster Payment and Nostro reconciliation would be an added advantage.Prior experience in working with processes like settlements & Treasury Ops would be an added advantage.Skills:xc2xb7 Flexible to work in UK time zone and holidays.xc2xb7 Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.xc2xb7 Good Microsoft skills including Excel, Word and Outlookxc2xb7 Knowledge of risk & controls to resolve first level escalated inquiries.xc2xb7 Computer literate and ability to grasp several in house systems quickly.xc2xb7 Demonstrates collaborative competency.Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
