About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Senior Manager to provide overall leadership for the Enterprise Complaints and Remediations (ECR) - Support Operations and Transformation (SOT) teams in Chennai. These include Procedures and Content teams, Access Control and Workforce Optimization In this role, you will: Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity and risk supporting the SOT teams in Chennai. Work closely with the US-based leaders of the Procedures and Content teams, Access Control and Workforce Optimization teams to develop and execute business strategies. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Support Operations and Transformation functional area. Develop and implement business unit strategies to enhance and improve service delivery. Provide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unit. Determine appropriate strategy and actions for the Support Operations and Transformation team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables. Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areas. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers and subject matter experts. Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes. Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure operational excellence. Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy. Required Qualifications, India: 10+ years of Operations and Management experience, with an emphasis on building strong stakeholder relationships, performance management and people management skills. Desired Qualifications: Financial Services experience or background with regulated industries in the United States Exposure to managing non-customer facing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with issue tracking and project management software such as Atlassian Jira Proficient with Process Engineering including evaluating existing processes and recommending improvements. Experience with Workforce Management tools, systems and concepts Job Expectations: In this role, candidates are expected to have a demonstrable background in building strong stakeholder relationships, leading high-performing teams and people management skills. Candidates also should be adept in working within a matrix environment with administrative and functional managers located across different geographies. Candidates should be able to propose and execute a successful talent strategy for the SOT teams in this location.
