: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Officer to manage the operational aspects of our outbound travel services, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the outbound leisure company, ensuring all travel arrangements and services are executed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation providers, to negotiate contracts, ensure service quality, and resolve any operational issues.
Travel Logistics: Coordinate and manage travel logistics, including itinerary planning, ticketing, accommodation bookings, transportation arrangements, and other travel-related services for clients.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction, including regular performance reviews and feedback mechanisms.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety and security of travelers during their journeys.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless travel experience from booking to post-travel follow-up.
Operational Efficiency: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements related to travel operations, including data protection and consumer rights
Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, with specific experience in outbound travel operations.
Proven ability to effectively manage operational processes and workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in travel booking systems and software (e.g., GDS platforms) and familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is a plus
