Job Summary Responsible for managing the strategic direction, build and deployment of human resources system and technology initiatives for the HR Systems and Technology Platform. Ensures the planning and execution of Plan of Record (POR) activities to improve/enhance our employee journeys. This includes but not limited to ensuring projects are within budget and meets the business requirements/commitments. May manage a team of professional employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Could assist in development and meeting of departmental budget. Core Responsibilities . Work with vendors and technology teams to install, configure and maintain the Legal system landscape including interfaces, ensuring high availability, optimal performance and overall data security and integrity. This is a hands-on role. . Work closely with the Legal Operations Team, regional Technology teams and the Group ERP Team, to ensure an \'always on\' experience for our internal customers, and a high satisfaction rate for customer service across our business. . Team Management o Responsible for day-to-day team management of CIEC staff members o Managing team workloads and task distribution . Operation Management: o Monitor and implement changes to the Legal platforms, environments, and interfaces, ensuring it is simple, cost effective and operationally efficient, whilst supporting our business\' needs. o Perform regular housekeeping and system administration tasks, for optimal system performance and availability, including reviewing updates, patching, support packages and notes. Manage the overall resilience roadmap for all platforms, ensuring that they are addressed in advance. o Ensure all platform components and processes are properly documented for onward use, in a knowledge management system. Ensure Sky\'s configuration management database is accurate. o Lead annual Disaster Recovery tests as per the defined system criticality rating. Work with the business and architecture, to review and optimise this process. o Ensure user roles and authorisation setup and maintenance is in place and delivered efficiently. Seek opportunities to streamline and simplify. o Ensure Platform and Environment stability is in place and monitored. . Cyber and compliance: o Proactively manage all risks and findings, ensuring no yearend deficiencies o Provide auditing and monitoring reports to maintain adherence to ITCG, CGA and SOX compliance. o Work with functional teams to ensure no gaps in our controls and processes. . Vendor Management o Close Vendor relationship management required, reviewing SLA adherence and challenging performance where required. Look for improvements where possible. o Be a champion for Sky, work with vendor to influence roadmap and resolve defects. o Work with Procurement to manage current and future licensing needs and cost efficiencies. Assess opportunities for pan-Comcast vendor relationships. . Incident Management: o Lead and own incidents through to resolution, being the focal point of contact across the Group Legal Technology team, and all stakeholders. o Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerts are in place. o Ensure alerts are swiftly investigated and addressed, and that all incidents are resolved according to the business criticality of the platform, and incident priority rating. o Provide 24x7 Operational support for the business. . Group model: o Work closely with your counterparts across Sky group, together with Comcast & NBCU, to find opportunities for alignment, enhancements and efficiencies. . Future thinking: o Explore opportunities to improve the platform and/or methodologies, working with the Solution Architect to provide a robust business case. Employees at all levels are expected to: . Must have ITIL certification or equivalent and 5 years+ experience. . Must have experience managing SAAS platforms. . Must have experience managing people. . Able to evidence the ability to self-learn. . Able to build strong and effective relationships. . Interested in current and future technology opportunities to improve our operational efficiency. . Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with a focus on trusted people relationships and results. . Comfortable doing things differently at times, being able to adjust and change approach when required. Desirable . Experience managing Legal or Compliance platforms. o E.g. Document management systems, E-billing, Matter Management, E-Discovery . Experience in professional services such as Law, Finance, Consultancy.
