Responsibilities: GM - Operation.
The candidate must possess following:
Production Planning & Control
\xef\x82\xa7 Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.
\xef\x82\xa7 Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery. Assist in production risk assessment and
mitigation activities.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications
\xef\x82\xa7 Resolve production issues and execute strategies and plan.
\xef\x82\xa7 Improve productivity and discipline.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure smooth operation of the department.
\xef\x82\xa7 Plan CAPEX for enhancement of fabrication facility.Safety & Environment:
\xef\x82\xa7 Developing SOPs, JSA and periodic review for its up gradation
\xef\x82\xa7 Lead/Support/Develop best practices and efforts with support from HSE team.
\xef\x82\xa7 Evaluate events and operational results and support the revising / updating of site policies,
procedure revisions, and training to address safety-related findings.
Change Management
\xef\x82\xa7 Lead Continuous improvement culture among team members to deliver excellence in
operations.
\xef\x82\xa7 Knowledge transfer initiatives among inter and intra unit members to continuously improve the
processes and systems
\xef\x82\xa7 Identify opportunities for joint improvement projects among departments, vendors, and
suppliers
\xef\x82\xa7 Taking the lead and ensuring continuity of operations.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist in new product development and enhancements.
Project Management
\xef\x82\xa7 Must be aware about latest methods of project management.
\xef\x82\xa7 Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key
responsibilities and objectives.
\xef\x82\xa7 Participate in project delay recovery plan.
Regulatory compliance
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure all the relevant regulatory compliances applicable to the operations are adhered to.
\xef\x82\xa7 Participate in periodic regulatory compliance audits from external and internal parties to
continuously improve systems.
Maintenance
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure maximum equipment availability for operations.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure implementation of QMS, EMS, OHSMS, and Operational Excellence guidelines for
continuous improvement and maintaining standards.Planning & budgeting
\xef\x82\xa7 Propose the department P&B in Consumption ratios, Maintenance cost, resources management,
etc., to management for approvals and achieve the same by deploying resources.Qualification/ Requirements:
\xef\x82\xa7 B.E Mechanical Engineer
\xef\x82\xa7 Specific experience of fabrication/Manufacturing
\xef\x82\xa7 20+ years in Production /project management /Planning
\xef\x82\xa7 Strong working knowledge of heavy structural/piping/pr. vessel fabrication
\xef\x82\xa7 Good knowledge of NDT and Welding
\xef\x82\xa7 Adequate knowledge of codes standards such as DIN, ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS
\xef\x82\xa7 Self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills
\xef\x82\xa7 Should be able to handle and lead change management.
\xef\x82\xa7 Should be good team player and should be able to steer the team of senior managers and engineers
and achieve set objectives and goals.Key Skills:
