We are seeking an Operations Team Member who can forsee daily operations, inventory management, sales and maintain good client relations. Please note: This is NOT a culinary/pastry position. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Operations Team Member. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and a graduate degree in business/hospitality or a related field. This role will be responsible for providing client support and managing all operational aspects of our startup venture, which focuses on premium food products made using locally sourced organic ingredients. The candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics, handling administrative tasks, managing the supply chain and vendor management. Responsibilities: 1. Provide comprehensive executive support to the Founder, including managing schedules, arranging meetings and handling correspondence. 2. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the venture. 3. Manage logistics and supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment. 4. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate price, quality, and delivery terms, and maintain strong relationships to optimize operational efficiency. 5. Handle administrative duties, including document management, record-keeping, and compliance. 6. Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement. 7. Support marketing and sales efforts by coordinating promotional activities and events. 8. Act as a liaison between the Founder, team members, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications: 1. Graduate degree in business administration/hospitality or a related field. 2. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a startup, restaurant or fast-paced environment. 3. Proven track record in logistics, operations management and vendor management. 4. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. 5. Proficient in using productivity tools and software such as Microsoft Office and Canva. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 8. Highly dependable and able to handle confidential information with utmost discretion. 10. Should geniunely love food and have knowledge about latest hospitality and food trends.
