We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries.Position SummaryPurposeOversee SSR Maintenance Systems and assist in planning of audits for SSR Fleet of equipment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesFunctionsxc2xbf Develop new maintenance tasks as new hardware is introduced. This will require interface with personnel familiar with the hardware in order to ensure that the task is applicable and safe, as well as to record a baseline time to execute.xc2xbf Work closely with Service Excellence as well as Technical Support in order to ensure that both maintenance plans and maintenance tasks are relevant to the specific hardware in use.xc2xbf Work closely with each Service Excellence/Operations Departments in order to ensure maintenance is being conducted in accordance with Oceaneering maintenance standards.xc2xbf Provide regular executive summaries to Maintenance & Audit Managerxc2xbf Continually review downtime incidents and equipment failures. Work with Technical Support to modify maintenance plans and/or tasks in order to reduce occurrences of downtime.xc2xbf Work with Service Excellence and Technical Support in the development and issuance of One-Time Tasks.xc2xbf Point-of-contact for all questions regarding maintenance issues.xc2xbf Provide training in the use of the Maintenance system.xc2xbf In step with regional operations and quality personnel, work toward COPQ elimination as related to equipment design, maintenance, personnel training and execution.xc2xbf Support all HSE initiatives, participation and assist with Risk identification, mitigation processes such as level III solutions and MOC process.xc2xbf Assist with any other duties as and when requiredxc2xbf Undertake specific projects as instructed by managementxc2xbf Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals.Key Accountabilitiesxc2xb7 Meet objectives for trouble resolution on all regional installation and interfacing of equipmentxc2xbf Guidance of all regional scopes of repair and maintenance for subsea and surface equipmentxc2xbf Police and support quality standards for all subsea and surface equipment componentsxc2xbf Execution of all bulletins to the fleet of Subsea Services equipment in regards to changes of process, procedures including component replacement or repairxc2xbf Maximize regional group efficiencies and costxc2xbf Manage and continuously improve overall R&M time and cost working with regional operations.Key Interactionsxc2xbf Ensure through discussion, alignment with all Service Excellence in support requirements.xc2xbf As required, discuss with Operations Leads compliance with Technical Bulletins, Operational change requirements, and general personnel performance.xc2xbf As required, discuss with Service Excellence and Technical Support Leads the nature of and level required for Chandigarh support.Supervisory Responsibilitiesxc2xbfThis position has NO supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsQualifications (Requires Regional Variance)REQUIREDxc2xbf BS in engineering or equivalent experiencexc2xbf Minimum of two (2) yearsxe2x80x99 experience and or training in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.xc2xbf Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and ERP System, PeopleSoft preferred.xc2xbf Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel.xc2xbf Experience evidencing a strong Business Acumen.DESIREDxc2xbfOffshore / oilfield operational experienceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristicsxc2xbf Strong leadership track recordxc2xbf Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of othersxc2xbf Excellent networking, negotiation, verbal and written skillsxc2xbf Treats others fairly and with respectxc2xbf Strong technical skill base with experience in subsea roboticsAdditional InformationWorking Conditions (Requires Regional Variance)This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.xc2xbfAlmost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.xc2xbfOccasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.xc2xbfWork surface is stable (flat).Physical Activity/RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
