About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Risk Senior Manager...Operational Risk Sr Manager will provide leadership in building and managing the Issue Management Utility function for Operational Risk Management teams within independent risk management group. Work with multiple Operational risk type leaders for successful implementation of Utility. In this role, you will: Build process and frameworks for the Issue Management Utility to execute all the Issue and Corrective Action related activities like Issue Intakes, Cross Line of Business Impact assessments, Submission Tollgates, Closure Tollgates, Issue Thematic Analysis, and Issue Management reports. Ability to build or provide direction to the team in building KPIs, data capture & tracking tools and Training materials which helps in successful implementation of Utility, resulting in shorter period to achieve BAU. Experienced in strategic design and development for enterprise scale organizations, driving speed, stability, and quality of delivery Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions Be responsible for CoE governance including quality control, SLA adherence, escalation management, allocation of people and financial resources, work alignment, etc. Engage with US stakeholders to provide status updates and seek out opportunities for transition of new work for the CoE Lead initiatives that cross multiple lines of business in scope with significant impact and risk Use subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to provide independent oversight and credible challenge to operational risk management activities Evaluate cross-program and cross-group analytics to identify opportunities and leading practices to influence stronger risk management practices across the CoE This position requires business engagement to drive and effect change.
