ROLE DESCRIPTION: Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Operational excellence will help Mankind subsidiaries manufacturing sites to transform as Lean manufacturing site as per defined Mankind Operational Excellence framework. This profile will be responsible to drive continuous improvement culture with problem solving capability building of shop floor employees & closely assist Site Lead to drive the Opex programs. This profile will also ensure substantial business benefits in bottom line of P& L of the site. He will support Site Leads of associate companies in strategy deployment & change management. This profile will be mainly responsible to transform associate manufacturing sites located in Pan India into Lean Manufacturing site as per agreed Roadmap with program sponsors. Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible to lead the Operational Excellence transformation by working closely with the Site Leadership team to ensure sustained performance in all 5 dimensions of Mankind Opex pentagon SQDCP.
  • Monitoring of key manufacturing indicators like \xe2\x80\x93 Downtime, Productivity, quality issues, Yield, Conversion Cost, reliability issues, Custom Service Level, Drive Kaizen & other cultural engagement programs launched time to time, Finished Goods Process Lead time, etc on day to day basis and generate MIS / Presentations at given frequency.
  • Provide analytical inputs to Site Manufacturing & Quality teams on capacity utilization, costs and productivity.
  • Facilitates in devising & implementing measurement tool for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan & as per Mankind Operational Excellence Roadmap
  • Facilitates improving overall systems & process orientation across sites by monitoring changes through DMAIC / DMADV / A3 problem Solving\xe2\x80\x99s and RCAs of all failures.
  • Facilitates Capex / Opex approval process and monitors implementation of improvement projects.
  • Participates in plant level studies / projects / RCAs / Problem solving for productivity enhancement & process improvement time to time.
  • Facilitates all Manufacturing reviews chaired by Site Lead or Chief \xe2\x80\x93 Manufacturing.
  • Coordinates weekly / monthly review meetings and monitors closure of action items.
  • Monitors Manufacturing Excellence related initiatives (like YBs certification & Project mentoring, 5-S, RCAs, DMAIC, etc) in terms of implementation effectiveness across sites.
  • Conducting system & process audits for ensuring strict adherence to thesystems as per defined guidelines.
  • Facilitate manufacturing teams to analyse the data & bring technical, analytical capabilities in system by intruding various governance routines & drivers.
  • KEY DELIVERABLES:
  • \xc2\xb7 Prepare scope and business cases for more ambiguous or complex projects including cost and resource impacts\xc2\xb7 Facilitate problem solving cost optimization projects every year and develop certified six sigma belts at site\xc2\xb7 Facilitate Kaizen ( Continuous improvement journey of the site )\xc2\xb7 Achieve WCM status in 5 S / TPM & Six Sigma\xc2\xb7 Facilitate Digital transformations at different levels in factory\xc2\xb7 Support & facilitate site in Opex / Capex budgeting\xc2\xb7 Facilitate in making WOR ( Weekly operations Review ) and DOR ( Daily Operations Review ) more robust
  • KEY CUSTOMERS:
Internal Customers \xe2\x80\x93 Associate Manufacturing Plants / Projects & Purchase / Finance / Central Opex
External \xe2\x80\x93 OEMs & Suppliers REPORTING: (a) Role directly reports to \xe2\x80\x93 Opex Lead Subsidiaries (b) Positions that report into this role \xe2\x80\x93 NA Key Operational Specifications 1. Cost savings @ 1% of Total turnover of the site 2. Developing Yellow Belts @ rate of 10 per year & Green Belts 5 Per Year 3. 100% Compliance on Opex Launch initiatives 4. Kaizen implementation at rate of 1 kaizen per person / Month 5. Improve CBN Score of the site by at least 5 Points year on year 6. Operational Master Plan Adherence atleast 90% 7. Trainer & Facilitator development at rate 80% as per plan 8. 100% Coverage of factory population & factory area in 5S within one year 9. 100% Adherence on WOR / DOR effectiveness 10. Identify & Facilitate teams in Low Cost Automation Projects @ 5 Project / Year 11. Yield opportunity loss to be optimized by 5% Year on Year Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: \xe2\x82\xb950,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb960,000.00 per month Benefits:
